Leah has been actively working in psychology since 2018 and is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist at Gold Standard Forensics (GSF).
Leah has experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, and inpatient and correctional facilities.
Leah currently conducts forensic and clinical evaluations for a variety of referral questions, with a focus on competency and mitigation evaluations. She has experience working with juvenile and adult populations. She also engages in other clinical activities related to forensic psychology, including consultation and testimony services for courts martial. As part of her work with GSF, she has presented at academic conferences and provided workshops to various types of agencies on psycholegal topics.
Leah received a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in psychological assessment from Ball State University in 2023. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Jefferson County Internship Consortium in Louisville, KY, where she received training in the treatment of serious mental illness and forensic psychology. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology with GSF.
Outside of her work, Leah enjoys reading, playing with her two cats, cycling, and being in the sun.
